(CIM), Chennai is a non-denominational organization impartinginformation, management training, organization development studies, mediation and reference service. The services of CIM also include conducting all-India Management seminars, publishing books and magazine relevant to the management of Christian institutions. The need was increasingly felt for enhancing the managerial effectivenessof managers in Christian organizations through acomprehensive Management course. The need has risen to run Christianinstitutions efficiently in order to conserve and utilize scarceresources effectively. These unique courses have been designed to serve this purpose after consultation with senior Church and Mission leaders.

Purpose There are many full time Christian leaders and managers who are looking for professional management courses to upgrade their managerial skills. •  To fulfill the need to develop competent leaders and managers for churches, mission agencies and Christian service organizations. •  To deliver the course without dislocating the students from their place of work. •  To impart managerial ability and acumen to second-line Christian leaders, to avoid dearth of talent in the future. •  To give Christian leaders a holistic exposure and awareness to all fields of Management study. The course design and subjects taught are based on Biblical perspectives, while maintaining the academic inputs given by the best secular Management institutes. M.A. Christian Management P.G. Degree is the first of its kind in Asia combining a biblical approach with management concepts and principles.

The materials are prepared for the course by Management professionals drawn from universities, management institutions, the corporate world and church and mission leaders from India and abroad.

Ideally suited for middle and senior level managers and leaders in full time service in churches and Christian service agencies. The present batch consists of senior Christian workers from Christian Institutions, CEOs of Missions, teachers and clergy from the Protestant and Roman Catholic churches

Mode of Study & Duration

Through self study. The Post Graduate Course is for 2 – ½ years duration. (5 Semesters).

Regular assignments will be given to students to enable them to comprehend and apply theory to their work situations.

Eligibility for Admission and Entrance Test

All candidates should qualify through an Entrance Test

Graduates with 5 years full time service in Churches and Christian Organisations/Missions/Institutions (or Christian plus Secular service)

Course fee

The course fee is Rs.8000 per semester, which includes all the university fees and the cost of course materials and seminar classes.
